HOW BEAUTIFUL THOUGH?

A week or so ago, I was lucky enough to be sent this beautiful (and huge! - even my boyfriend was impressed!) package from Madison Make Up. They are a new make up brand based in Ireland (I'll link their Instagram page down below) and they sent me a few bits to try - I am so grateful and it is even more special for me as it was my first ever box from a brand!

They sent me a set of 12 brushes - the packaging is beautiful white with rose gold 💜 and the bristles are super soft. They also sent their 'Berry Bold' eyeshadow and highlight palette and their contour kit.



I swatched some of the colours, and the pigment on the pinks, reds and oranges is unbeatable! They are super easy to blend and there is a nice selection of shimmers and mattes too. I used the bottom brown/ nude shade 'Neutral' as my transition colour and the bottom 2 red & pink colours 'Mika' and 'Berry' for my crease with the gold colour 'Twinkle' on the lid. I wanted some extra 'pop' in the inner corner so I used the pinky highlight colour 'Daisy' for this - and it is gorgeous! There was a little bit of fall out in the palette but generally they are finely pressed and the colour pay-off is brilliant. I used the highlight 'Bella' on my cheeks and it is a shimmery, gold colour which I love!


This is the final look I created. I added some of the top brown colour 'Velvet' to my crease - as I felt it needed something else and used the highlights on my brow bone  in the silver shade 'Mia' and cheeks, too. What do you think? 😊


Overall, I absolutely LOVE this brand and I can't wait for them to release more products.. Thank you Madison Make Up for being such a special brand for me! 💕

❤ My Go-To Look ❤ Everybody has a go-to look that we reach for when we don't want to take any risks, we use products that we trust and recreate a look over and over knowing it is flattering and looks good for all occasions. How to achieve:  Prep Simple Daily Moisturiser. I always always start with a good moisturiser. I like this one because it lasts for 12 hours and it sinks in to the skin and lasts all day. Kiehl's Reviving Daily Concentrate. My absolute go- to before make up! Smashbox Photo finish Primer. This is my current favourite primer. I used it a while ago and when I ran out I never replaced it but now I have it again I am in love all over again. I find the foundation really clings to it and lasts for hours. L'Oreal Pro Glow Foundation ♡

Testing: L'Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation ♡ I LOVE a good foundation review... and this week I have been testing out the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Pro Glow Foundation. First of all... I have tried ALL of the L'Oreal Infallible range! I have used the 24 hour foundation (in the bottle) in 'Vanilla' for over a year and I really love the consistency and the finish as it is satin to demi-matte and lasts all day!  I have also tried the 24Hour Total Cover (the thicker one) and I am on the fence with it... It has SUPER thick coverage and is between a liquid and mousse consistency... so it depends how you like the feel of that on your skin as it is quite heavy...  But if you love a good coverage that literally doesn't budge - this may be worth a try for you! However, I am not a fan of the 24Hour Matte one (in the squeezy tube) as I feel it is too dry for my already dry-ish skin. I think I just prefer a glowy finish ...  And that is where Pro G...
