Everyday Make Up


Everybody has an 'everyday' make up bag... It's the one bag that has your holy grails in for those day-to-day looks, and for going to work where it isn't going to be a full- on glam... But you still want to look glam... Half glam? Soft glam? You get the idea.


Mine looks like this. I honestly can say this bag holds my whole face! It has my few faaaaavourite bits that I literally couldn't be without on a daily basis - unless *shock*  I'm going bare-faced! There are a few obvious things in there, such as eyelash curlers, a Real Techniques Beauty Sponge  and my Real Techniques Mini Expert Face Brush. I love these. I travel around a lot and the mini brush is perfect for keeping in your daily bag!

But here are my must haves for wherever I am, and my must have's that help me look less of a zombie (pre-coffee anyway!) Aaaaand most of them are drug store or affordable products, too! 




Maybelline Great Lash mascara. This is an OG for me. I have used it since I was at school and I love how it makes my lashes look. It's easy to build up to make your lashes look thick and long without clumping. I have repurchased for years and I probably will for years to come!

Nyx Sculpt & Highlight eyebrow pencil. I love this pencil! It comes with one pencil end and a concealer end which I think is a great idea for on-the-go and it really does work. There are a few colours to  choose from for depending on what look you want and it's really easy to use too. Perfect for a newbie to brows or just one for your collection.

Maybelline Eraser Eye concealer. Soooo many people rave about this and I have been using it for about a year and it is as good as they say! If you have never tried it, then you 100% need to for an affordable, but amazing under eye concealer. Defo a must!

Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless foundation. I like this foundation because it isn't completely matte but it gives really good coverage and it does last allll day! Tried and tested! & I run around all day for my job - so you know it is that good.

Barry M Liquid Chrome highlighter drops. I like these blended with my finger along my cheekbones and above my brow bone. They aren't as smooth as the Iconic London drops but they are a good enough dupe and for £6 they are an everyday bargain. Loveeee.

Nyx Lingerie liquid lipsticks. These are my go-to liquid lipstick. They last for hourssss and they are super pigmented and beautiful. I wear mostly the nude shades daily but their darker shades are a perfect night out lip, too. 

Maybelline x Gigi Hadid liquid eyeliner. I'm not usually a fan of the felt tip style liners but this one is super easy to use and easy to control, too. I love how it looks, it dries dark and matte and is really affordable, too.

Nyx Matte bronzer. I swear this is the only bronzer I have ever tried that is matte and no shimmer!??! Is it just me?! It is a gorgeous bronzer and gives a real glow without the shimmer which I like for a work-time look.

"So Sensitive" ♡

♡ "You are so sensitive" ♡ Do you find the word "sensitive" is thrown around alot, and mostly holding a negative meaning?  The Oxford Dictionary definition is: "having or displaying a quick and delicate appreciation of others' feelings" Meaning that somebody who is sensitive is thoughtful towards others and their feelings.  Which, I don't feel is a particularly negative trait to have. So how has it come to be used in a negative way to describe a person? 'Oh you're just being sensitive' 'It's a joke... don't be so sensitive' We have come to be so conditioned to be super tough, super hard and to have no emotions in particular situations. This then means that some of us are made to feel silly when we do take slight offence or are sensitive to comments or react differently to how other's believe we should. ♡ July Newbies ♡ July has been a scorcher - and we should not complain! Amongst all the heat, here are the new products I have been enjoying this month! W7 Life's a Beach Palette   I love a good eyeshadow palette and this packaging gave me allll the summer vibes! Does you not think it also looks like the start of Love Island?! ... Maybe that is just me! The palette comes in the same style as the others in the smooth packaging and contains 12 shades with some pops of colour. The only issue I have with this palette is that there is only 3 matte shades which can make it hard to transition colours in the crease. But it has an array of browns/ bronzes to create the perfect smokey eye with some shimmery shades on top. I am a big fan! Estée Lauder Day Wear Moisturiser I love the fresh feeling and smell of this moisturiser! Yes, it is a bit pricey - but it lasts allll day and creates a good base for your make up.
