ALDI SKINCARE ♡

ALDI SKIN CARE πŸ’•

Aldi? Skincare? Probably not a title you have seen more than once.. or twice? Or even words you would potentially put together in a sentence? Fab - that's exactly what I wanted! 😊

I l o v e good skincare products - I love products that make your skin feel amazing and I am always buying and trying new things to see how they work. I am often a sucker for packaging too - if something looks cute; I really want to try it!πŸ’š

As much as I am a fan of Kiehl's, Clarin's and EstΓ©e Lauder skincare products (my sister is a Lauder girl - perks!) I am always on the hunt for bargain products  that are also just as good (or near enough!) that don't break the bank but do work wonders on your skin. I am a self-confessed drug store hoarder so I wanted to try something completely different - and that is where Aldi steps in! πŸ˜πŸ’š

Aldi's everyday moisturiser was recommended to me maybe 2 years ago by a work colleague who had it recommended to her. She struggled with her skin but had found top brand products were making it worse. She swapped to Aldi products and her face was noticeably less red, with less texture and had a smoother surface. I was sold!

Smoothing Face Scrub

I always try to alternate scrubs/ exfoliators and normal face washes during the week! This is the alternative to the face gel and I have been using it for about a month now. It contains Pro Vitman B5 as well as Vitamin E and it claims to be suitable for all skin types. It is a really, really gentle scrub - like really! I'm not a fan of really harsh scrubs on my face so this is perfect and I feel it is gentle enough for daily use - I try to alternate days, however! 😊

Refreshing Face Wash Gel

This face wash is another I have been using for a little while - I feel it is similar to the Simple face wash gel! Even the packaging is similar! I have been using it since I moved house in November and I feel a little goes a long way! 😊 This wash contains Pro Vitamin B5 and is suitable for all skin types. My skin is fairly on the normal side and I have had no problems with it in the months I have been using it! I always try to use face washes that are free from soap and this is perfect with no perfumes and colours either - as these can lead to wrinkles and early signs of ageing! I would defo recommend for less than £2!

Anti-Wrinkle Multi Intensive Face Serum

This is the most pricey at about £4 I think - it didn't exactly break the bank though! This is new to me and I have been using it every day for about a week and I really like the consistency. It is thicker than a serum but less than a moisturiser.. it is kind of bang in the middle and it is recommended to use before your moisturiser. It is meant to 'help smooth skin and reduce appearance of fine lines'; I am only 25 but I am taking no risks in early signs of ageing! I like it so far and I'm going to keep going with it!

Day Cream SPF 20

I have been using the Lacura Q10 Daily moisturiser with SPF 20 for about 3 months now and I am on my third bottle I think... It is amazing! It is super thick, creamy and my skin feels soft allll day! I apply it before primer or my foundation when I am not using primer and it is non-sticky feeling with a light scent and lasts throughout the day which is really important to me. It is an absolute steal at £1.69 and I would definitely recommend trying it! I am 25 and I really do try to wear a daily SPF, especially as I am outside more and more with work as the days get lighter!

Have you ever tried any of these? Have I persuaded you to try them?!

Lots of love EPπŸ’•
