Hi, hello, welcome to my blog! Lovely to meet you!

Well that is a sentence I never thought I would say! My name is Ellie and I'm 25. I'm a qualified Special Needs Primary teacher and a self-confessed make up, beauty and skincare junkie! I live in Nottinghamshire with my boyfriend and I love naps. Haha, I'm not sure what else to say about myself really? Is there anything in particular you would like to know?! 😊

This is such a huge deal to me... as I have always wanted to start a blog and give myself something to focus on, but my anxiety has always held me back from doing so (but more about that later!) My friends and sister gave me the push I finally needed  towards the end of last year... and here I am! 💕  I finally took the plunge to put myself out there to the world and I am really enjoying it so far. Anxiety 0- 1 Ellie! 😍

I am hoping to post as much as I can and as often as I can about all the things I love. Specifically make up, skin care, health, meditation and well-being, fashion and general positivity. 

I hope it gives you some light reading, a few tips/ tricks and possibly even a giggle or 2 along the way! I was always told at school and University I should have a TV show for all the daft things I do and say... but maybe this will do for now!

❤ My Go-To Look ❤ Everybody has a go-to look that we reach for when we don't want to take any risks, we use products that we trust and recreate a look over and over knowing it is flattering and looks good for all occasions. I put a poll on my Instagram and this is the look you wanted to see... So here are my go-to products, why I choose them and how I create my go-to look which is.....  this! How to achieve:  Prep Simple Daily Moisturiser. I always always start with a good moisturiser. I like this one because it lasts for 12 hours and it sinks in to the skin and lasts all day. Kiehl's Reviving Daily Concentrate. My absolute go- to before make up! Smashbox Photo finish Primer. This is my current favourite primer. I used it a while ago and when I ran out I never replaced it but now I have it again I am in love all over again. I find the foundation really clings to it and lasts for hours. L'Oreal Pro Glow Foundation ♡

Testing: L'Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation ♡ I LOVE a good foundation review... and this week I have been testing out the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Pro Glow Foundation. First of all... I have tried ALL of the L'Oreal Infallible range! I have used the 24 hour foundation (in the bottle) in 'Vanilla' for over a year and I really love the consistency and the finish as it is satin to demi-matte and lasts all day!  I have also tried the 24Hour Total Cover (the thicker one) and I am on the fence with it... It has SUPER thick coverage and is between a liquid and mousse consistency... so it depends how you like the feel of that on your skin as it is quite heavy...  But if you love a good coverage that literally doesn't budge - this may be worth a try for you! However, I am not a fan of the 24Hour Matte one (in the squeezy tube) as I feel it is too dry for my already dry-ish skin. I think I just prefer a glowy finish ...  And that is where Pro G...
