July Newbies ♡

Image
♡ July Newbies ♡ July has been a scorcher - and we should not complain! Amongst all the heat, here are the new products I have been enjoying this month! W7 Life's a Beach Palette   I love a good eyeshadow palette and this packaging gave me allll the summer vibes! Does you not think it also looks like the start of Love Island?! ... Maybe that is just me! The palette comes in the same style as the others in the smooth packaging and contains 12 shades with some pops of colour. The only issue I have with this palette is that there is only 3 matte shades which can make it hard to transition colours in the crease. But it has an array of browns/ bronzes to create the perfect smokey eye with some shimmery shades on top. I am a big fan! Estée Lauder Day Wear Moisturiser I love the fresh feeling and smell of this moisturiser! Yes, it is a bit pricey - but it lasts allll day and creates a good base for your make up. I have been using this more regularly as I just find it sm...

L.A. Girl Foundation & concealer ♡

Image
L.A. Girl Cosmetics I honestly think trying new foundations and concealers is my favourite thing... I just can't help it! This bank holiday weekend I gave the LA girl cosmetics 'pro coverage' foundation and the 'pro conceal' a whirl... and I was blown away with the results! I know these aren't new products, but they are new to me when I did a mini BeautyBay haul and I have been desperate to try them for a while! The foundation claims to be 'high definition, long wear and illuminating'. Now that seems almost contradictory .. as often 'illuminating' or dewy foundations, aren't as long wearing as matte ones. But I loveeee glowy, dewy skin - especially in the summer and I was keen to see how long lasting it really was! I read the reviews and decided to try the shade 'natural' - which is one of the lighter shades but I read it does oxidise a little, so it matched my fake tan pretty well with some bronzer! The concealer...

W7 On The Rocks Palette ♡

Image
W7 - "On The Rocks" Palette W7 is one of my faaavourite brands... I actually own quite a few of their products, and none of them disappoint - especially for what I paid for them! So, I was super excited to try this little beaut! I love pops of colour, especially blues (cue KKW vibes!) and although I have never tried orange or yellow eyeshadows before; I was eager to try something different. Safe to say .. I have been reaching for this each day for about a week... So let's get to it! First things first... Doesn't it just SCREAM Subculture? Yeah... Thought so! It is an exact dupe! Even the pans are laid out the same. With the pops of orange and yellow, teals and greens with the warm purples and browns mixed in. It is the perfect affordable dupe if you are an Anastasia Beverly Hills  lover but want a cheaper version. I have never tried the Subculture palette, so I cannot comment on the quality difference, but I can say it won't disappoint in t...

Mac Must Haves 💕

Image
💕 Mac Must Haves! 💕 Mac Cosmetics is such a staple for everybody... They are more to the high end side of the product price scale but some products are more affordable and, more importantly, sooo worth the money! Most of my girl friends have at least one or two Mac products in their make up bags and so I thought I'd do a post on my 'must have' products that I actually love and I feel are worth splashing a little bit more on... I have narrowed it down to just 4 products that you, may or may not, agree are staples and I repurchase each time I run out! Prep & Prime Fix + This is my second bottle of the Coconut scented Fix+ - I absloutely looooove this! 😎 I first bought it last year for my holiday as the girl in the shop recommended it to me and she was so right to keep my face on all night in the heat. I also have a mini which I keep in my handbag which is only £10 so is worth a try if you are wanting to give it a shot. It works underneath your ma...

❤ My Go-To Look ❤ Everybody has a go-to look that we reach for when we don't want to take any risks, we use products that we trust and recreate a look over and over knowing it is flattering and looks good for all occasions. I put a poll on my Instagram and this is the look you wanted to see... So here are my go-to products, why I choose them and how I create my go-to look which is.....  this! How to achieve:  Prep Simple Daily Moisturiser. I always always start with a good moisturiser. I like this one because it lasts for 12 hours and it sinks in to the skin and lasts all day. Kiehl's Reviving Daily Concentrate. My absolute go- to before make up! Smashbox Photo finish Primer. This is my current favourite primer. I used it a while ago and when I ran out I never replaced it but now I have it again I am in love all over again. I find the foundation really clings to it and lasts for hours. Face Estée Lauder Double Wear in Desert...

Image
💖 January 2018 Favourite Products 💖 January, January... What a long month you were! I can honestly say I am glad to see the back of you (sorry any January babies!) and I always welcome a new month with open arms - new goals, fresh mindset - we are coming for you! Here are a few of the products I have been using religiously throughout January and some I really recommend for you guys to try! Sleek Cosmetics Blush Palette in Californ.I.A This palette is super affordable and it has a shimmer orangey toned shade and two matte shades, one being pinkier and one being more orange.  I tend to mix the two matte shades and apply them to the apples of my cheeks. It is suuuuper pigmented so you don't need much at all but it is lovely and soft and perfect for every day.  Sleek Cosmetics Contour Kit in Light I picked this up purely because of how dinky the packaging is and I thought it would be a perfect handbag product but I have used it pretty much eve...
