💕 Mac Must Haves! 💕


Mac Cosmetics is such a staple for everybody... They are more to the high end side of the product price scale but some products are more affordable and, more importantly, sooo worth the money!

Most of my girl friends have at least one or two Mac products in their make up bags and so I thought I'd do a post on my 'must have' products that I actually love and I feel are worth splashing a little bit more on... I have narrowed it down to just 4 products that you, may or may not, agree are staples and I repurchase each time I run out!



Prep & Prime Fix +
This is my second bottle of the Coconut scented Fix+ - I absloutely looooove this! 😎 I first bought it last year for my holiday as the girl in the shop recommended it to me and she was so right to keep my face on all night in the heat. I also have a mini which I keep in my handbag which is only £10 so is worth a try if you are wanting to give it a shot. It works underneath your make up as a primer, throughout the day as a refresher and also after make up application to set it all in place! It really is a one-job-wonder!



Extra Dimension Skin Finish - Double Gleam
I have 3 of the Mac highlighters and this one is my favourite. It is a more golden colour and it is gorgeous with or without a tan! Spray a bit of Fix+ on your brush and then apply for a more intense highlight or without for a more subtle glow. It is buildable and really beautiful.
If you aren't a fan of gold-toned highlights, I recommend Soft & Gentle as this has more champagne and pink undertones.



Face & Body foundation - N5
I know everyone raves about Studio Fix Fluid - which I also have & I am a big fan of for nights out. But it is the Face & Body which I really do love. It hasn't got much coverage (so if you are a full coverage gal - defo try the Studio Fix Fluid instead!) but it just goes on my skin beautifully and has that your-skin-but-better look to it which sways me every time! I also struggle to EVER have a tan on my legs (sob!) so this is also gorgeous to use on your body for that airbrushed look or if you aren't a fan of fake tan! Love. 


Lipstick, obvs!
I am a self confessed lipstick hoarder and I think I own maybe 8 or 9 Mac lipsticks. My favourites are Velvet Teddy, Ruby Woo & Freckletone. Mac offer all different finishes for all types, from satin - matte to creamsheen! They are all (from what I have tried) super pigmented and last for hours with the right liner.

❤ My Go-To Look ❤ Everybody has a go-to look that we reach for when we don't want to take any risks, we use products that we trust and recreate a look over and over knowing it is flattering and looks good for all occasions. I put a poll on my Instagram and this is the look you wanted to see... So here are my go-to products, why I choose them and how I create my go-to look which is.....  this! How to achieve:  Prep Simple Daily Moisturiser. I always always start with a good moisturiser. I like this one because it lasts for 12 hours and it sinks in to the skin and lasts all day. Kiehl's Reviving Daily Concentrate. My absolute go- to before make up! Smashbox Photo finish Primer. This is my current favourite primer. I used it a while ago and when I ran out I never replaced it but now I have it again I am in love all over again. I find the foundation really clings to it and lasts for hours. L'Oreal Pro Glow Foundation ♡

Testing: L'Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation ♡ I LOVE a good foundation review... and this week I have been testing out the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Pro Glow Foundation. First of all... I have tried ALL of the L'Oreal Infallible range! I have used the 24 hour foundation (in the bottle) in 'Vanilla' for over a year and I really love the consistency and the finish as it is satin to demi-matte and lasts all day!  I have also tried the 24Hour Total Cover (the thicker one) and I am on the fence with it... It has SUPER thick coverage and is between a liquid and mousse consistency... so it depends how you like the feel of that on your skin as it is quite heavy...  But if you love a good coverage that literally doesn't budge - this may be worth a try for you! However, I am not a fan of the 24Hour Matte one (in the squeezy tube) as I feel it is too dry for my already dry-ish skin. I think I just prefer a glowy finish ...  And that is where Pro G...
