❤ My Go-To Look ❤

Everybody has a go-to look that we reach for when we don't want to take any risks, we use products that we trust and recreate a look over and over knowing it is flattering and looks good for all occasions.

I put a poll on my Instagram and this is the look you wanted to see... So here are my go-to products, why I choose them and how I create my go-to look which is.....

How to achieve: 

Prep

Simple Daily Moisturiser. I always always start with a good moisturiser. I like this one because it lasts for 12 hours and it sinks in to the skin and lasts all day.

Kiehl's Reviving Daily Concentrate. My absolute go- to before make up!

Smashbox Photo finish Primer. This is my current favourite primer. I used it a while ago and when I ran out I never replaced it but now I have it again I am in love all over again. I find the foundation really clings to it and lasts for hours.

Face

Estée Lauder Double Wear in Desert Biege. My sister is a Lauder girl and she has got me hooked on this. Our mum has used it for literally a billion years and it is such a staple. It lasts ALLL DAY - doesn't budge at all and it has such a gorgeous finish. It is flawless matte but not completely matte that you look dry but it is between satin and matte.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 05 and 10. These are my current favourite concealers, they are affordable and have amazing coverage - I really recommend!

NYX Matte Bronzer in Light. This is my favourite for bronzing and a little bit of light contour. It is one of the few bronzer's I have  found that is completely matte with no shimmer so is perfect for everyday.

Laura Mercier Translucent Powder. THE go to powder! It is soooo worth the hype. I have had for ages now and a little goes a long way. Keeps my concealer set and lasts all day.

Kat Von D Shade & Light Palette. This is such a staple, I have hit pan on 3 shades (I can't upload cos it just doesn't look pretty anymore!) But I just love it.

Topshop Glow Pot in Gleam. I am obsessed with this. I use it every single day!

Mac Highlight in  Double Gleam. A gorgeous gold highlight - I haven't uploaded because I sat on it and the lid snapped so it is literally just the pan... But it is a gorgeous champagne gold colour and I loveeeee it.

Brows

Nyx Tame & Frame Pomade in Brunette. This was my go-to for a while but I think I forgot about it so trying it again. It is supposed to be a dupe for the ABH pomade... you tell me what you think!

PS Brow Pencil. I love pencils  - I just find them so much easier to work with! This is just £1 and it is so pigmented and easy to use.

Eyes

The star of the show... The Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette

  Swatches, with and without flash

I used the colour 'Bitter Start' (the white/ cream shade in the top left) to set my concealer, 'substitute for love' (2nd on bottom row from left)  for my transition shade as it was the perfect creamy brown shade. I then blended 'subtle blend' and 'freshly toasted' which are both warm browns to darken the crease.  I then used 'Beans are white' (the black shade top right) on the outer corner and 'Pure Ganache' (the gold colour bottom left) on top of the Maybelline bronze colour to make it pop. This is such an affordable palette for 20 pans and they are all super beautiful and easy to blend. I really recommend!

Maybelline 24hr Tattoo in Bronze on Bronze. I have talked about these before and I do think they are so good as well as being affordable.

Gigi Hadid x Maybelline Eyeliner. I love a wing and I find this felt tip pen style tip really easy to use.

Maybelline Miss Baby Roll mascara. My go-to mascara! Love.

Ardell Wispies Lashes. These have become my favourite lashes and I have stocked up while they are on offer in Superdrug! They are so fluttery and gorgeous.

Lips

W7 Lip Pencil in Lilac. This isn't as purple as you would think. It is more a nude colour and it has been my recent favourite for everyday. It came as a Double Dip lip kit and the liquid lipstick is much more purple but this is a favourite nude to wear with most nude lips.

Lord & Berry Chubby Pencil in Peaches. This came in my January Birchbox and I bloody love it!

Carmex Lip balm on top. Because why not?! Helps to keep my lips moisturised throughout the day.
