Treating Holiday Damaged Hair ♡
Treating Holiday Damaged Hair ♡
As lovely as it is to go on holiday and be in the sun for a week... it can wreak absolute havoc on your skin and hair if you don't look after it properly!
Also has your hair ever slightly changed colour in the sun...or has it gone a shade lighter? Well, I naturally have lots of red/ copper tones in my hair... so the sun doesn't as much 'lighten' mine. Instead, it goes different shades of red!
Here are a few tips for how I treat my hair after the sun has frazzled it ♡ and also how to get rid of the brassiness / orange tones ! ♡
Provoke Touch of Silver Shampoo
This baby is my ride or die for blonde hair! I use it every other hair wash to keep the brassiness/ orange tones at bay and it really does work.
After holiday I like to do a really deep tone. For this I wet the ends of my hair (where it is blondest as I have a root stretch) and lather the shampoo into my hair and leave it for half an hour. I massage the ends and comb it through to really get the colour worked in. I then wash as normal and my blonde is back! π
L'Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths Conditioner
I have heard so many good things about this and this particular range from L'Oreal that I was desperate to give it a go to help save my hair! I have not been disappointed!
Although my hair isn't the longest, it has had so much bleach on it that I do try my hardest to look after it and this conditioner has been amazing so far. It is really thick and creamy and I do feel it has helped the very ends of my hair get back to their pre- holiday state! Win.
L'Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths No Haircut Cream
I was sooo intruiged to try this! I saw Emily Canham rave about it and her hair is sooo long, thick and gorgeous I thought I must try it!
It says you can use it on dry or wet hair... So I have been applying this twice a day on to my hair before bed and first thing in the morning and I definitely have noticed a difference since I have been back from holiday. It smells absolutely gorgeous, too! It is a thick, leave in conditioner and I would really recommend if your hair is in need of some TLC.
