Holidays are my absolute favourite! 💛 The week in the run up to going away I always try to prep my skin and hair as best I can to make sure it looks the best it can when i’m away. I have normal-dry skin all over and I am always moisturising as I worry about being flaky! This is what I up the most before a holiday to make sure my skin is ready for the sun! 

Here are some of my favourite products for skin, face and hair to prep like a pro...

FACE


Charcoal Mask
In my opinion you cannot beat a charcoal mask! I just feel like this is the best way of really deep cleaning your skin and drawing out any toxins or impurities from your skin. The one I have been loving is from Creightons but it was actually a present so I couldn't tell you where it is from! But these are readily available at all Boots/ Superdrug and if you have never used one before- you 100% need to!
Nip & Fab Dragons Blood - Hyaluronic Shot
This is a must have for me- I find it so hydrating! I used it for a while last summer but have recently re-purchased and I forgot how much I love it! I use this morning & night for a burst of hydration. I only use 3 squirts each time to cover my whole face so a little goes a long way! I always try to stock up on these when they are on offer tan Superdrug!
A good, thick moisturiser!
I have been loving the Morrocan Rose Age Protect moisturiser as it is sooo thick & lovely on the skin. It has SPF15 so it is perfect for when the sun (eventually) comes out! It just feels lovely on the skin & isn't greasy at all. I really recommend. You can find this at Waitrose or Amazon.
BODY
A good scrub - with or without a wooden scrubber or scrubbing mitts, too!
A scrub I have been loving is from Gommage which I received in my Birchbox and this is the Festin Royal body scrub. Firstly- it smells absolutely incredible! It is like salted caramel!😍 it is the perfect scrub as it is not scratchy but it makes your skin feel amazing! I am definitely going to purchase the full size - I have found it but only on eBay!! I love to scrub before holiday to make your skin look super glowy! Must. Have! ♡
A light tanner.
The one I have been using is the No7 Perfectly bronze. I like this because it is only a light tan that you can use with your hands (easy peasy!) And it fades gradually without going patchy! So you avoid that patchy/ strange look on holiday when you're in the pool! This gives a lovely, natural glow which you can rock while you are catching a real tan!
HAIR

 I have mentioned this before but I abso LOVE a hair oil! The one I am (still) loving is by Pantene - it smells amazing and makes your hair look so soft! I will 100% be taking this away with me to keep using on my holibobs! ❤️🌈

❤ My Go-To Look ❤ Everybody has a go-to look that we reach for when we don't want to take any risks, we use products that we trust and recreate a look over and over knowing it is flattering and looks good for all occasions. I put a poll on my Instagram and this is the look you wanted to see... So here are my go-to products, why I choose them and how I create my go-to look which is.....  this! How to achieve:  Prep Simple Daily Moisturiser. I always always start with a good moisturiser. I like this one because it lasts for 12 hours and it sinks in to the skin and lasts all day. Kiehl's Reviving Daily Concentrate. My absolute go- to before make up! Smashbox Photo finish Primer. This is my current favourite primer. I used it a while ago and when I ran out I never replaced it but now I have it again I am in love all over again. I find the foundation really clings to it and lasts for hours. L'Oreal Pro Glow Foundation ♡

Testing: L'Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation ♡ I LOVE a good foundation review... and this week I have been testing out the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Pro Glow Foundation. First of all... I have tried ALL of the L'Oreal Infallible range! I have used the 24 hour foundation (in the bottle) in 'Vanilla' for over a year and I really love the consistency and the finish as it is satin to demi-matte and lasts all day!  I have also tried the 24Hour Total Cover (the thicker one) and I am on the fence with it... It has SUPER thick coverage and is between a liquid and mousse consistency... so it depends how you like the feel of that on your skin as it is quite heavy...  But if you love a good coverage that literally doesn't budge - this may be worth a try for you! However, I am not a fan of the 24Hour Matte one (in the squeezy tube) as I feel it is too dry for my already dry-ish skin. I think I just prefer a glowy finish ...  And that is where Pro G...
