Full Face of 1 Brand!

Full Face of 1 Brand ...
Maybelline! πŸ’›

Full face of 1 brand's are one of my favourite videos to watch on Youtube! I love seeing artists use different products, trying them out to see if they prefer different parts of particular brands and how they create different looks just using the one brand.

One of my all time favourite brands is Maybelline. I have been using their products since I can remember so I was intrigued to try this for myself and see how I got on! A few of the products I have used for a while (does that count as cheating?!) but a few (the ones pictured above!) were all completely new to me, so I wanted to see how some old favourites and some newbies performed together.

This is how I got on...

Skin

I have been using the Fit Me Matte & Poreless for ages now, alongside the Fit Me Concelears and they never, ever steer me wrong! I wanted to try the new Super Stay foundation but my local Boots didn't have my shade!? (Gutting!) I use the shade 115 in the foundation, and use the lightest shade 05 concealer under my eyes and 10 for the rest of my highlighting spots. I always find these blend so seemlessly and I really do love them.

The Babyskin pore eraser primer was new to me and it felt similar to my Smashbox photo finish primer! It is a silicone-y feel primer which I prefer as it does mattify my oily T-zone and I felt it lasted all day.

Eyes
I decided to try out the 'Nudes' palette - I have seen these Maybelline palettes about a lot and I think 12 shades for £12 is such a good price! I was super impressed with the pigmentation and I found them easy enough to blend out. I went for my favourite smokey eye and used the gold shade on my lid. I was really impressed with how pigmented the shimmery shades were - you could build them up so beautifully! I will definitely be trying another of these palettes!

The Great Lash mascara is my OG and I still use it now - I find it makes my lashes look long and full and I have been using this for probably about 10 years. I also use the chunkier one of these, too and switch it up when I fancy.

For eyeliner, I used the Gigi Hadid felt tip liner. This liner is my faaaavourite and I'm so sad I didn't buy more of these when they were first out! I will definitely be trying more felt-tip liners as I feel I am so much better with these!

Finishing Touches

For my brows, I combed through the Brow Drama mascara to hold them in place - I cheated and used my Nyx pomade - sorry!

For highlight I used the Master Glow in Molten Gold! I have seen this being used on lots of beauty guru's and it is sooo gorgeous! I tend to opt for a more gold highlight and this one did not disappoint! If you are after a new highlight I do really recommend this for under a tenner.

I finished off with the Dream Satin finishing spray. I tested this on my hand and it left such a beautiful glow that I had to have it! If you prefer matte finishes then steer clear of this! But if you like a dewy, glowy finish then I really recommend. I also think the packaging is gorgeous.

And this was my finished look...

I know the natural lighting helps .. but I feel like the cool toned eyeshadows really made my green eyes stand out and the glow was just perfect for a girly lunch (which was where I was going!)

Is Maybelline one of your favourites? What else do you recommend that I try?

Lots of love EP πŸ’•
