💗 Doll Beauty Secret Masterclass 💗


This week I had possibly THE most exciting Instagram DM ever ! (Sorry, Lee! 😇) I had an invite to attend Doll Beauty's secret Masterclass at Topshop Meadowhall - I was in shock and instantly texted my sister to ask her 'is this legit?!' - I was seriously thrilled but couldn't quite believe it! I instantly replied 'yes please!!' (after worrying I would have to sneak out of work early! - I didn't, luckily!) & it was possibly the best thing, ever! I was even lucky enough to take my sister as it is her fault I am so obsessed with this brand in the  first place! 😍

I am a huuuuuuuge fan of Doll Beauty since my sister got me hooked on their lashes and newer highlights - available in Topshop & we got to sit an fangirl over Hollie Flynn whilst she did her sisters make up and gave us lots of tips and tricks along the way!

We were greeted by Danni and Sam who were so warm and welcoming with a glass of champagne and a Doll Addict t-shirt - I was already in heaven!
 

Hollie talked us through her smokey eye using some of her favourite products and brushes - some as affordable as £3! Hollie started with eyes, and then face and gave us some tips on contouring, too!
 

Hollie applied the 'Frankie' faux mink Doll Lashes and used the 'Shine Bright' Doll Light.
 

We were so so lucky to be given a (huge!) goodie bag full of treats and, of course, have a selfie in front of the Doll Light stands.


The goodie bag was full to the brim of beautiful lashes, a mini Doll Light, handbag mirror and make up bag as well as a note book to write down all Hollie's tips!

I am beyond grateful for this experience and to meet the ladies who have created such an incredible brand as well as Hollie who I have followed for so long - way before starting a blog! The biggest thank you for having me! 💗

❤ My Go-To Look ❤ Everybody has a go-to look that we reach for when we don't want to take any risks, we use products that we trust and recreate a look over and over knowing it is flattering and looks good for all occasions. I put a poll on my Instagram and this is the look you wanted to see... So here are my go-to products, why I choose them and how I create my go-to look which is.....  this! How to achieve:  Prep Simple Daily Moisturiser. I always always start with a good moisturiser. I like this one because it lasts for 12 hours and it sinks in to the skin and lasts all day. Kiehl's Reviving Daily Concentrate. My absolute go- to before make up! Smashbox Photo finish Primer. This is my current favourite primer. I used it a while ago and when I ran out I never replaced it but now I have it again I am in love all over again. I find the foundation really clings to it and lasts for hours. L'Oreal Pro Glow Foundation ♡

Testing: L'Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation ♡ I LOVE a good foundation review... and this week I have been testing out the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Pro Glow Foundation. First of all... I have tried ALL of the L'Oreal Infallible range! I have used the 24 hour foundation (in the bottle) in 'Vanilla' for over a year and I really love the consistency and the finish as it is satin to demi-matte and lasts all day!  I have also tried the 24Hour Total Cover (the thicker one) and I am on the fence with it... It has SUPER thick coverage and is between a liquid and mousse consistency... so it depends how you like the feel of that on your skin as it is quite heavy...  But if you love a good coverage that literally doesn't budge - this may be worth a try for you! However, I am not a fan of the 24Hour Matte one (in the squeezy tube) as I feel it is too dry for my already dry-ish skin. I think I just prefer a glowy finish ...  And that is where Pro G...
