The best lipstick.... ever?!


Oooooh my gosh. I love when you fall in love with a product... and this one has completely captured my heart and there is no going back!

I have mentioned Maybelline products a few times before on my blog - but this has got to be up there with the best lipstick EVER! This is the Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink - and it gets a 5* review from me!

I have seen a few bloggers rave about this but really I copied Jamie Genevieve as she swears by this and so I wanted to give it a go! So I bought the colour 'Driver' (the nude shade) and it definitely does not disappoint! It is more of a brown-nude shade that I think would flatter most skin tones. I then had to go and purchase a different colour and I went for 'Heroine' which is a gorgeous coral-red with orange undertones.

I can honestly say this has got some serious staying power! They are so pigmented and have a heart shaped (almost) applicator which makes it easy to apply even without a mirror and they dry down matte. They have a slightly tacky feel to them - similar to a gloss - despite being a lipstick. But I promise they DO . NOT . BUDGE. 

They are an absolute steal at £10 and I am going  to go and buy even more of them this weekend!

💕 New Products (to me!) Feb 2018 💕 I posted a Poll on Instagram on what post people would like to see ... and my 'new products I have been using' won by only 1 vote! So here it is... A few of my February 2018 newbies! First of all, I just want to say, these are products that are new to me ! They probably aren't necessarily 'new' to the make up world.. But to me they are newbies that I have been trying out on my face to see how I like them. First of all I have been loooooving the Barry M Illuminating Face & Body Spray! I have been using this most days in February and it gives such a gorgeous glow to the skin. It is such a bargain and look beautiful over make up and also on your collar bones for a bit of a 'glow from within' look. Big thumbs up! "So Sensitive" ♡

♡ "You are so sensitive" ♡ Do you find the word "sensitive" is thrown around alot, and mostly holding a negative meaning?  The Oxford Dictionary definition is: "having or displaying a quick and delicate appreciation of others' feelings" Meaning that somebody who is sensitive is thoughtful towards others and their feelings.  Which, I don't feel is a particularly negative trait to have. So how has it come to be used in a negative way to describe a person? 'Oh you're just being sensitive' 'It's a joke... don't be so sensitive' We have come to be so conditioned to be super tough, super hard and to have no emotions in particular situations. This then means that some of us are made to feel silly when we do take slight offence or are sensitive to comments or react differently to how other's believe we should.
